Niagara Falls- 3 Days 2 Night - USA and Canadian sides
Niagara Falls - USA side
Tour Overview
This 3-day, 2-night guided bus tour from New York City explores Niagara Falls from both the United States and Canadian sides. The experience combines scenic travel, guided sightseeing, and several of the region’s most well-known attractions.
The journey begins with a morning departure from New York City and travels through upstate New York, including views of the Hudson Valley and Finger Lakes region. Along the way, guests stop at Watkins Glen State Park, where there is an optional short hike through dramatic gorges and waterfalls.
Upon arrival in the Niagara Falls area, guests visit Niagara Falls State Park on the US side before checking into a hotel located on the Canadian side of the falls. The Canadian side offers panoramic views of Horseshoe Falls and serves as the base for the overnight stay.
One of the highlights of the trip is the Maid of the Mist boat tour on the US side, where guests ride close to the base of the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls. In the evening, the illuminated Niagara Falls can be viewed from the promenade as colorful lights shine on the cascading water. Fireworks may also be visible during certain seasons.
The second day is dedicated to exploring both sides of Niagara Falls in greater depth. On the US side, guests visit Cave of the Winds and walk along wooden platforms near Bridal Veil Falls. Guided walks on Goat Island and Luna Island provide close-up views of the American Falls.
On the Canadian side, guests board the Hornblower Cruise for another boat experience at the base of Horseshoe Falls. The itinerary also includes Journey Behind the Falls, where tunnels and observation decks provide a unique view from behind the rushing water. Optional attractions such as the Skylon Tower and activities in Clifton Hill are available during free time.
On the return journey to New York City, the tour stops at the Corning Museum of Glass, known for its extensive collection of glass art and live glassblowing demonstrations. Guests can explore the galleries, watch demonstrations, and learn about the history and science of glassmaking before continuing the trip back to New York City.
The tour concludes with an evening arrival in New York City.
